Ever wondered what would happen if we built organisations without the patriarchy? Could you even imagine what balance, community, reciprocity, regeneration, love, and reciprocity would look like in a workplace? Would that be a business destined to thrive or barely survive in the current social context?

Well Clara and Kanika will be talking you through their journey as micro-businesses and female founders, and the bold steps they are taking in re-shaping their organisational approach towards Matriarchy.

This is set to be a thought-provoking, honest and reflective discussion between two entrepreneurs, as they navigate alternative ways of working, culture design and inclusion, while acknowledging that bills need to be paid.

Clara is the small human behind Purple Bonsai. She offers her User Research, Learning Design, and Facilitation skills to organisations of all shapes and sizes. She has delivered projects in a myriad of sectors, including education, social care, healthcare, security, diversity and inclusion, fintech, and sustainability. She is passionate about tech for good and teaching others how to do research, in bootcamp and university settings. When she’s not working, Clara can be found hiking somewhere in the Peak District and/or eating chips.
